Create a stunning, nature-inspired wall piece in this hands-on workshop where you'll design your own floral panel using bunches of dried flowers and a chicken-wire base. 

This creative process allows you to explore texture, color, and composition as you fill your panel with seasonal botanicals to reflect your personal style.

Each participant will receive a wire frame for creating a chicken-wire panel and access to a curated selection of dried flowers grown and harvested at Honest Desires Farm & other local farms. 

You'll be guided through techniques for layering, securing, and arranging your florals to build a one-of-a-kind botanical display.

All materials are provided. You’ll leave with a finished floral panel ready to hang and enjoy.

All Dates are Saturdays, with Sundays being make-up days for extreme weather. October's workshop date is tentative and may be moved up or back depending on the weather. 

Join us for a summer‑long pressed‑flower experience designed to help you slow down, enjoy the season, and learn the art of preserving blooms. This monthly workshop meets once a month from July through October. Each session is 1–2 hours and includes time to pick fresh flowers, learn preservation techniques, and press blooms together in community. By the end of the season, you’ll have a beautiful collection of pressed flowers ready to use in a stunning final project.

In October, the final class will include picking flowers (weather permitting) and creating your finished project using the blooms you’ve pressed throughout the summer. You’ll choose from one of our standard workshops or a seasonal fall project, and the only cost for this final session will be the materials for the project you select.

Before the first class, you’ll receive guidance on how to source or make your own flower press. For the best experience, we recommend having two presses so you can rotate and dry flowers continuously throughout the summer.

If rain or extreme weather prohibits our workshop, the makeup day will be the next Sunday.

Create a beautiful wildflower candle by blending real pressed flowers directly into the wax of an ivory pillar candle. This workshop uses a premium 2.8 × 6-inch unscented pillar candle made from slow‑burning, dripless paraffin wax with a 100% cotton wick and an approximate burn time of 75 hours. 

Guests will choose from a selection of real pressed flowers in seasonal colors and learn how to embed them into the wax to create a soft, botanical glow when the candle is lit. This project is beginner‑friendly, relaxing, and perfect for gifting or enjoying at home.

Candle colors and flower varieties may vary by season and availability, but each candle will have a natural, elegant look. This is a decorative craft experience using pre‑made candles; we do not manufacture the candles ourselves. 

Please burn responsibly, and note that Honest Bloom Studio is not responsible for candle performance or burn behavior once the candle is taken home.

Create a Personalized Floating Frame

Design a beautiful pressed‑flower monogram inside a 7" × 9" black floating glass frame—perfect for gifting, home décor, nurseries, or adding a personalized touch to your gallery wall. In this hands‑on workshop, you’ll select your letter and arrange real pressed flowers to create a custom botanical initial that feels both modern and timeless.

You’ll work with a real glass-and-wood frame that includes a hanger for easy wall display. A curated selection of pressed flowers will be available, and varieties may vary by workshop. Create a beautiful, custom moss art wall hanging using a 12" × 14" wooden hexagon tray with a built‑in wall hanger. Each tray can be left natural or painted during class, giving you the freedom to match your personal style. 

During the workshop, you’ll design your own textured moss art piece using preserved moss in a variety of colors, natural wood accents, artificial moss rocks, and a curated selection of real dried flowers. 

You’ll learn how to build a balanced composition, layer textures for depth, and secure materials so your finished piece lasts. All materials are provided, and you’re welcome to wear paint‑friendly clothing if you plan to paint your tray.

Create a beautiful Roundscape design using our custom circular template and your choice of real pressed flowers. In this workshop, you’ll arrange and glue flowers into a circular or patterned composition on an 11×14 or 12×16 mat board, choosing colors and styles that reflect your personal aesthetic. 

Standard mat board colors are black and white, and at our home studio, you’ll also find a rotating selection of colored archival mat boards available while supplies last. This class has become one of our most popular private workshop selections because it’s relaxing, customizable, and perfect for all experience levels. 

We provide a curated collection of real pressed flowers in a variety of colors and shapes, along with guidance on how to build your design and secure each piece with archival‑safe adhesive. Frames are not included, but protective packaging is provided so you can safely take your artwork home. 

There may be frames available for purchase at the studio if you’d like to complete your piece the same day.

Create two beautiful, handcrafted cards using real pressed flowers and premium cold‑pressed watercolor cards. In this workshop, you’ll design your own floral compositions and enhance them with soft watercolor accents—think tiny vases, rain boots, teacups, cakes, or simple botanical washes that let the flowers shine. During this guided workshop, you and your bridal crew will learn how to select the best flowers for pressing or drying, understand the differences between pressing and drying techniques, properly handle and prep flowers for preservation, and press real flowers in your personal heirloom‑quality press. You will also explore creative ideas for turning preserved flowers into keepsakes, discover helpful tips and long‑term care methods, and use your PDF Floral Guide Workbook to remember everything you’ve learned.

Each guest will receive a traditional personal flower press to take home, a real flower bouquet to press and dry during the workshop, and a Floral Guide PDF Workbook. We are happy to collaborate with your florist of choice, which may include an additional fee, or we can provide the flowers for your group.
