The Memorial Flower Preservation Process: How It Works
1. REACH OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:
Memorial flowers are often time‑sensitive. Contact us as soon as you know you’d like to preserve them so we can secure your date and guide you through the next steps.
2. SECURE YOUR RESERVATION:
To reserve your spot, we require:
- A non‑refundable $100 Reservation Fee
- A signed contract
- A completed Memorial Questionnaire
- Communicate the type of Memorial you wish to commission. A 3D piece or pressed flower piece. It will determine how we preserve your flowers.
Once these steps are complete, we’ll confirm your reservation and prepare for your flowers’ arrival.
3. ARRIVAL OF FLOWERS:
Arrangements can be made to drop off your memorial flowers or to ship them utilizing the same shipping instructions as the Bridal Flower Shipping & Flower Care Instructions. Please don't send or drop off flowers without contacting us first.
3. INTAKE PHOTOS & CONDITION ASSESSMENTS:
When your flowers arrive, we photograph them immediately and assess their condition. Memorial flowers often arrive fragile, and we handle them with specialized care to preserve as much beauty as possible.
4. PRESERVING & DESIGNING
Your flowers move through our multi‑step preservation process:
- Gentle pressing or air‑drying
- Reconstructing delicate blooms
- Designing your layout based on your chosen frame size and style
- Proofing your design before final assembly
Turnaround time is typically 6 - 8 months, depending on the season. Slightly longer than our Bridal Preservation due to having to fit them into our schedule.
