The Why
Welcome to Honest Bloom Studio. I started this work because I love flowers. Not just love flowers, but I am crazy about them and want to share their beauty with everyone. Inspired by Luther Burbank’s words, “Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food, and medicine to the soul,” I created Honest Bloom Studio to celebrate flowers long after they would have faded. My goal is to capture nature’s delicate beauty and turn it into heirloom art you can treasure for years.

When time allows, I make original artwork using flowers I’ve grown and pressed myself. These original pieces are available in the shop and show the same care, creativity, and love of nature that inspire all my preservation work.
If you want to try it yourself, I offer hands-on workshops where you’ll learn the basics of pressing flowers. I provide all the materials and guide you step by step so you can create your own botanical art to take home.

Hi, I'm Lauren, the florist and preservation artist behind Honest Bloom Studio. My love for flowers began long before I ever pressed my first petal. I started growing flowers in 2013, tending small garden beds that grew into a deep appreciation for how blooms mark our most meaningful moments.
In 2020, that love became a calling. I began specializing in dried and pressed floral art, drawn to the quiet beauty of preserving something fleeting and giving it new life. With a background in graphic design and a natural eye for composition, blending art and nature felt intuitive and deeply fulfilling. Each piece became a way to honor a memory or keep a story worth sharing.
Today, I preserve wedding bouquets, memorial flowers, and special-event blooms, transforming them into bespoke botanical art that captures each client's unique story. I personally consult with every client, ensuring every bloom is handled with intention, care, and artistry so its beauty can continue long after the moment has passed.
Based in Medina County, Ohio, I take pride in using locally grown flowers whenever possible and offering a personal, one‑on‑one experience for every client. Preserving your flowers is an honor, and every frame I create carries a piece of your story. I’m grateful to help it live on.
